Kid's ministries at Maplewood exist for one basic purpose - to work together with parents as a team to bring children to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our true desire is to make parents and kids feel loved and grow at their own level to know the Lord.
At Maplewood, it is our mission to develop fully devoted followers of Christ, starting with our youngest believers. We believe that the childhood years are some of the most important to plant the seed of God's Word into young lives. WE LOVE KIDS and we want to see God's plan for their lives be fulfilled.
Each service has Sunday School for the appropriate age groups in order to meet your child's specific development needs.
Children's Church - Here, children begin learning about the Bible. Using a "hands on" approach to curriculum, we engage your child in an active way to make learning more fun.
All our Children's Ministry workers understand...
That all activities in each Sunday School class are done in humility. (Philippians 2:1-8)
That every adult involved with children is an example of Jesus and a minister of His love. (Matt 18:5-6)
That every child needs a positive experience in Sunday School so that he or she will want to come to church when they grow up. (Mark 9:42)
