WHAT IS OUR HISTORY AND WHERE WE ARE WE GOING?
Maplewood was started in the early 1970's to reach the local community here in North Richland Hills. Currently, Maplewood has been reinvented; with new leadership, a new vision, and a completely new start. If you have a desire to be a part of a new church, then Maplewood is for you. We have just started a new Student's (Youth) Ministry and are working on our new Children's program.
WHAT ARE WE ALL ABOUT?
We are a church that believes in impacting peoples lives in positive ways.
We are a church that is warm and friendly. We believe strongly in relationships and working together as a team.
We are committed to helping and serving others as well. One ministry we have started recently to help others in the community is our large Food Pantry. We help feed dozens of families in our area every single month.
WHAT ABOUT SPIRITUAL THINGS?
We have a young and energetic Pastor who is passionately devoted to Jesus Christ and His Word. Our Pastor is surrounded by wonderful leadership that is equally committed.
We are zealous for God's Word and seek to teach and preach His Word in a deeply Biblical way. We also want to keep it simple enough that all people can be drawn closer to Jesus Christ while gaining a deeper hunger for His Word in their daily lives.
We live in an era where the Word of God is becoming more and more "side-lined". The world around us desperately needs to hear the Word of God, spoken in love, uncompromised, in their lives. It is only from the Bible and the presence of the Holy Spirit through a relationship with Jesus Christ, that people can truly find freedom in life; both freedom from the power of sin and death, as well as the presence of sin in our daily lives. There are many hurting people in the world who are trapped by sin and addictions that desperately need to be set free.
